What to Consider Before You Buy
Check these four points before ordering to avoid compatibility issues or missing accessories.
PoE or Power Adapter?
Most business phones can receive power through the network cable using Power over Ethernet. If your network switch does not provide PoE, add the correct compatible power adapter when ordering.
How Many Lines?
Two to four lines are generally suitable for an individual staff member. Receptionists and busy call handlers may need 6 to 16 lines, programmable BLF keys and expansion module support.
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth?
Built-in Wi-Fi is useful where network cabling is unavailable. Bluetooth provides convenient support for compatible wireless headsets. On many Yealink models, a W in the model name indicates built-in wireless features.
Microsoft Teams Compatibility?
Standard SIP phones do not provide native Microsoft Teams calling. Businesses using Teams Phone should purchase a specifically certified Teams model. Check the product page or speak with our team before ordering.
VoIP and PBX Compatibility
Most standard SIP desk phones in this range work with the majority of Australian hosted VoIP providers, on-premise IP PBX systems and popular platforms such as 3CX.
Provisioning methods and supported features can vary between service providers. We strongly recommend confirming the exact model with your VoIP provider before ordering, particularly for auto-provisioning, hosted extensions or special call-management features.
DigiPhone can help compare suitable models, but final service compatibility should be confirmed by the provider managing your phone system.
